Amazon PillPack Pharmacy

Amazon’s lineup of products and services recently expanded to include a new complementary sorting and delivery service for your medications. Amazon’s PillPack is a service that bundles and sorts your medications, vitamins, and supplements into small convenient packs that get delivered right to your door.

How does Amazon PillPack work?

Each month, PillPack will sort your meds including any vitamins and over-the-counter meds into easy to open packets. If you need other items like inhalers, creams, or testing supplies, PillPack can send those too. They’ll also work directly with your doctors and insurance to resolve any issues and adjust your medication if your prescription has changed.

PillPack also automatically handles all of your refills, which makes it easier to stay consistent with your daily routine. If you have questions or need to make an update PillPack pharmacists are available 24/7.

Why use Amazon PillPack?

PillPack’s pill sorting service makes your daily med routine much easier to manage. Unlike typical pharmacies, which sort your meds in separate containers, PillPack sorts your meds into small convenient packs that indicate the day and time of your dose. With PillPack you’ll never need to sort your pills, stand in line at a pharmacy, or miss taking your medication again.

In addition, with Covid-19 still, a looming threat, making a trip to the pharmacy can pose an unnecessary health risk. Pharmacies also charge services fees on top of the price you pay for your medications. Amazon PillPack service is free, which means you receive your meds from the safety of your home without additional fees.

How much is Amazon PillPack?

Amazon’s PillPack service is free. You’ll only ever need to pay for the cost of your medications or add-ons like vitamins or supplements. Over-the-counter drugs, like ibuprofen, can also be purchased and sorted with your prescription medications. Many insurance plans are accepted, and you can apply FSA or HSA funds towards your order.

How do I sign up for Amazon PillPack?

Signing up for PillPack is easy. To set up your service, you’ll need to put together a list of your current prescriptions, along with any vitamins or other pharmacy items. You’ll also need your insurance card and Doctor’s contact information. A credit or debit card is also required to cover the cost of copays, vitamins, or over-the-counter items.

Once you have all of the above info, head over to the PillPack signup page to get started. If you have questions, you can call PillPack customer service at 1-866-332-1668.

How do I cancel Amazon PillPack?

If you no longer wish to utilize PillPack as a pharmacy, you can contact them at hello@pillpack.com or 1-866-332-1668 to cancel your account. You are still obligated to pay for your last shipment if it has left the PillPack facility before your request to cancel is submitted.
